Jennifer, at Hear at Home Mobile Hearing just fitted this week, my 96 year old Dad, with new hearing aids. I live in Austin, Texas and my Dad is a Nursing Home in North Vancouver. I had tears in my eyes when I received a video from Jennifer of my Dad, with his new hearing aids. It was simply a miracle, as my Dad can now hear everything. Jennifer is fabulous and if I could give a dozen stars I would.
A week after my mom arrived from Germany, one of her Signia hearing aid stopped working and left us scrambling trying to find any option to allow mom to take part in all the Christmas experiences. We were so lucky that our first call was to Jennifer at Hear @ Home.
Not only did she squeeze us into her super busy schedule the same day to check on the hearing aid, she also coordinated with the Signia rep to get it replaced under it's international warranty when it was clear that it was broken.
She went above and beyond when she invited us to come in one more time to offer my mom a loaner hearing aid for the holidays.
I am so grateful that Jennifer has been so thoughtful, proactive and kind and ensured that my mom would not miss out.
I will go for my own hearing test in the spring and will send everyone I know into her capable hands.

From start to finish Hear at Home Mobile Hearing Clinic provided exceptional and timely service. Jennifer Abbott suggested hearing aids that were appropriate for my 101 year old mother. The attention to detail was outstanding as Jennifer included a clip and cord that attached the two hearing aids together which helps to prevent the aids from being lost if they fall out or the user takes them out. This is crucial in a care home. Proper instructions for inserting and removing were given and we wrote up instructions for the staff with photos. The Hear at Home support person, Emma was very pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend this service for anyone with mobility issues.

After my family noted that they had to repeat things to me and I had also noted that I was missing parts of conversations, I contacted Hear At Home for assistance. I encountered professional, friendly and personalized service which included a hearing assessment, education on hearing loss and a review of hearing aid options. I found out that my hearing loss was limited to one ear and I was fitted with a hearing aid that is so small that it is almost invisible! I can now hear much better in social and work situations and would highly recommend Hear At Home for its exceptional service!

I resisted doing something about my hearing loss for many years -partly denial on my part, but also because I felt the professional I consulted many years ago seemed more interested in selling hearing aids rather than addressing my needs. My experience with Jennifer couldn't have been better. She obviously cares about her clients -using gentle humour to put me at ease. She was patient, thorough and explained everything without overwhelming me with information. I felt totally confident that my needs and well-being was her primary focus. A whole new hearing world has opened up for me now-I never realized how much I was missing before getting my hearing aides. Jennifer is caring, knowledgeable, professional and comes to your loved ones home to help them get custom hearing aides and provide services to help them hear and communicate better. She clearly explained to me and my Father that the part of his brain that listens and interprets words was becoming impaired since his ears could not hear the words properly. He, and his friends and family members, were so much happier when we could have a proper conversation with him instead of him just nodding and smiling and pretending to hear us. I would highly recommend Hear at Home to all seniors, especially ones who have trouble getting out of their home.

Position: Customer Care Representative

We are a leading hearing clinic, dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with hearing loss. We are currently seeking a dynamic and empathetic Customer Care Representative to join our team on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome clients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly
  • Provide accurate information about our hearing services and products
  • Assist clients in completing necessary forms and paperwork
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
  • Collaborate with Hearing Aid Practitioners and support staff to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns with patience and empathy, striving for effective resolutions
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction and address any additional needs

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Empathetic and patient-oriented approach when dealing with customers
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and appointment scheduling software
  • Prior experience in customer service or healthcare industry preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with audiology or hearing-related terminology is a plus

Job Title: Mobile Hearing Practitioner

We are seeking a highly motivated Mobile Hearing Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality hearing services to our clients, travelling to various locations throughout the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work independently and travel to various locations throughout the community.
