The home visit was a great way to get a hearing test and to have the time to ask questions and make an informed decision. Jennifer was very patient and lovely with my mother. As is the case for most older adults, they refuse to believe they need hearing aids. Jennifer was very adept at explaining not only the necessity but how it impacts other areas in her life. She came back twice to ensure the hearing aid fit properly and when my mom was still having some issues, she kindly switched her to another more comfortable style. I would strongly recommend Jennifer, she is very professional and compassionate with the older population.

Jennifer has gone above and beyond our expectations. She is so caring, professional and respectful. She knew just how to talk to my 88 year old father to help him feel comfortable with his first hearing aids, which wasn't easy. Even if you don't have limited mobility I would recommend her personal touch over a clinic!

Jennifer is awesome. She has repeatedly gone above and beyond try to find hearing solutions for my 102 year old Grandmother. She has been a strong advocate for my Grandmother as well training the care home staff on the proper care and usage of the hearing aids. I would highly recommend Hear at Home for your hearing needs.

Jennifer & the Hear At Home staff are amazing. The kindness, warmth, sincerity and genuine concern for their clients and family is like I have never witnessed in a business. It is kind of hard to believe until you experience it. Read the other reviews and there is a consistent pattern in the accolades. They go above and beyond to do right for their clients and make it as easy as possible to handle what can sometimes be hard situations.

I completely trust them with my parents and can not recommend them enough to care for your loved ones.

Jennifer, was a real life saver when mom lost one of her hearing aids while at the hospital. Jennifer came to mom's bedside, took measurements of mom's ears and ordered a new set of hearing aids. Mom is very happy with both Jennifer and her new hearing aids! After mom returned home, Jennifer visited us at home and checked on mom. Recently, Jennifer visited us again and checked on mom's hearing aids and gave mom another hearing test. While examining mom's ears, Jennifer discovered wax build up, and made the suggestion to see our doctor for an ear flush. We would not of known about the wax, if Jennifer had not examined mom's ears. Jennifer has taken the stress out of both the management of mom's hearing and the maintenance of her hearing aids. We can not thank you enough Jennifer!

Hearing loss can be a tricky subject to address with elderly folks. I’ve had a hard time getting my parents on board - at first they seemed in denial and then afraid of the cost. I finally got them to agree to a test and Jennifer came this week. Her professionalism and patience were so appreciated. She is very sensitive to the feelings of those with hearing loss - elderly or otherwise. Her extensive knowledge and years of experience as well as her kind and empathetic nature made the process much better than I anticipated. And the unique service or coming to the hone makes such a difference for those with mobility issues. I highly recommend Jennifer and the team at Hear at Home.

I really really enjoy Karen Tyrell’s presentations. I used to work at Courtyard gardens in sales, and there were a few of the residents and potential residents with dementia. I knew nothing of it until I started attending & taking Karen’s presentations & training sessions. I do not have anyone in my life that has dementia but friends with parents that do. I may go back to work in a seniors residence so the more education the better! I would attend another webinar held at Hear at Home Mobile Hearing Center.

Position: Customer Care Representative

We are a leading hearing clinic, dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with hearing loss. We are currently seeking a dynamic and empathetic Customer Care Representative to join our team on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome clients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly
  • Provide accurate information about our hearing services and products
  • Assist clients in completing necessary forms and paperwork
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
  • Collaborate with Hearing Aid Practitioners and support staff to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns with patience and empathy, striving for effective resolutions
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction and address any additional needs

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Empathetic and patient-oriented approach when dealing with customers
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and appointment scheduling software
  • Prior experience in customer service or healthcare industry preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with audiology or hearing-related terminology is a plus

Job Title: Mobile Hearing Practitioner

We are seeking a highly motivated Mobile Hearing Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality hearing services to our clients, travelling to various locations throughout the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and provide recommendations for appropriate treatment options.
  • Fit and program hearing aids and other assistive devices.
  • Provide follow-up care and adjustments as needed.
  • Educate clients and their families on hearing loss, communication strategies and assistive technology.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care and communication with physicians and other healthcare professionals as necessary.
  • Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations and professional standards.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Hearing Aid Practitioner in good standing.
  • Strong knowledge of hearing disorders, hearing aids and other assistive devices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel to various locations throughout the community.
