I was very pleased to get my hearing test then the hearing aids so quickly. I had a single old hearing aid and I needed two. I am in my 90's and my hearing is poor. The two new hearing aids a re a great improvement. My experience with Jennifer and with her office staff was wonderful. Professional and competent describe it well. I recommend her services to anyone with poor hearing.

My family dealt with Jennifer Abbott at Hear at Home Mobile Hearing Clinic for hearing aids for our 90 yr old mother. Jennifer was extremely patient and understanding in her interactions with our Mum. I was particularly pleased that Jennifer spoke directly to Mum, addressing all questions and responses to her and ensuring her total engagement in the process. When responses to tests were different, Jennifer spent the time for a retest to ensure accuracy and had new moulds prepared so that Mum got the best possible benefit from her new aids. I would not hesitate to recommend Jennifer and Hear at Home Mobile Hearing Clinic to anyone looking for extraordinary service.

From start to finish Hear at Home Mobile Hearing Clinic provided exceptional and timely service. Jennifer Abbott suggested hearing aids that were appropriate for my 101 year old mother. The attention to detail was outstanding as Jennifer included a clip and cord that attached the two hearing aids together which helps to prevent the aids from being lost if they fall out or the user takes them out. This is crucial in a care home. Proper instructions for inserting and removing were given and we wrote up instructions for the staff with photos. The Hear at Home support person, Emma was very pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend this service for anyone with mobility issues.

I live in Richmond and over the 4 years of using hearing aids I extremely happy with the prompt service that I have received from Hear at Home. I email Hear at Home when I have a question or need help adjusting my hearing aids and I receive replies back the same day answering my questions. Further, I am able to make appointments at convenient locations and times to assist me. In addition, Hear at Home taught me how to use the many features on the hearing aids so I can better utilize them so I can enjoy my activities much more. I will buy my next set of hearing aids from Hear at Home.

Hearing loss can be a tricky subject to address with elderly folks. I’ve had a hard time getting my parents on board - at first they seemed in denial and then afraid of the cost. I finally got them to agree to a test and Jennifer came this week. Her professionalism and patience were so appreciated. She is very sensitive to the feelings of those with hearing loss - elderly or otherwise. Her extensive knowledge and years of experience as well as her kind and empathetic nature made the process much better than I anticipated. And the unique service or coming to the hone makes such a difference for those with mobility issues. I highly recommend Jennifer and the team at Hear at Home.

Our first contact with Jennifer was for a hearing assessment for my 90 year old Mum. Mum was able to be assessed in the comfort of her recliner in her own home and didn't have to make numerous trips to a clinic. Jennifer was very professional and knowledgeable and was able to offer us a wide range of hearing aids. Follow up has been very good as Mum has needed setting changes as her hearing declines. Jennifer also provides monthly checks and cleaning at Mum's retirement home. With a family history of deafness on both my parents sides I decided to have Jennifer assess my hearing in my early 60's. She impressed on me that it is better to get hearing aids earlier than later as hearing is not just about volume but also speech recognition and once that declines it can't be recovered. I was fitted with the most up to date technology with recharging batteries and blue tooth capability. Follow up was excellent. I have on numerous occasions recommended Jennifer to friends and would highly recommend her to others who are experiencing hearing loss.

She knew just how to talk to my 88 year old father to help him feel comfortable with his first hearing aids, which wasn't easy. Position: Customer Care Representative

We are a leading hearing clinic, dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with hearing loss. We are currently seeking a dynamic and empathetic Customer Care Representative to join our team on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome clients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly
  • Provide accurate information about our hearing services and products
  • Assist clients in completing necessary forms and paperwork
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
  • Collaborate with Hearing Aid Practitioners and support staff to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns with patience and empathy, striving for effective resolutions
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction and address any additional needs

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Empathetic and patient-oriented approach when dealing with customers
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and appointment scheduling software
  • Prior experience in customer service or healthcare industry preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with audiology or hearing-related terminology is a plus

Job Title: Mobile Hearing Practitioner

We are seeking a highly motivated Mobile Hearing Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality hearing services to our clients, travelling to various locations throughout the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and provide recommendations for appropriate treatment options.
  • Fit and program hearing aids and other assistive devices.
  • Provide follow-up care and adjustments as needed.
  • Educate clients and their families on hearing loss, communication strategies and assistive technology.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care and communication with physicians and other healthcare professionals as necessary.
  • Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations and professional standards.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Hearing Aid Practitioner in good standing.

  • Ability to work independently and travel to various locations throughout the community.
