I was very pleased to hear about Jennifer at Hear at Home Mobile Hearing Clinic as it is difficult to get my 91 year old Mom out to appointments. Her hearing loss was getting worse and she wasn’t keen about getting hearing aids to the dismay of my sister and me. The way Jennifer gave the hearing test, explained hearing loss and the impact it has on our lives gave my Mom confidence to move forward in getting a pair of hearing aids. Communication is so much better now. Ongoing it is especially helpful that Jennifer does monthly cleaning clinics at the Assisted Living Residence where Mom lives. The care and maintenance tutorials on her website are great too! Jennifer has a wonderful service to people with hearing loss and their families. She is professional, knowledgeable and caring and I would highly recommend her services.

I just wanted to say that we (my sister Deb and I ) really enjoyed your and Karen's presentation and the information was very helpful. We are trying to support our Dad, who is 90 and looking after our Mom, who is 89 and struggling with dementia. We will follow through with the suggestions and share them with our Dad.

I can't say enough about Jennifer and her team. All very easy to speak with and the response is always timely - from setting up an initial consult, hearing test, moulds for ear piece/s and if necessary, taking another mould to ensure the best fit, followup with warranty issues. In particular, all this can be done in-home which helps with meeting the needs of those who can't get to their location.

Jennifer came to our home to test my mother's hearing, gave us a report and helped us assess our options. There was no sales pressure and we later bought a set of hearing aids from Hear at Home. The follow-up service was excellent, including 3 review visits to my mother's care home. It has made a big difference to our ability to communicate with my mom. Highly recommend Hear at Home.

Hear at Home provides exceptional mobile service that is both dependable and quick. My father's broken hearing aid was replaced in just over 1 week, and Jennifer visited his care home to ensure it fitted properly, tested his hearing and adjusted both hearing aids for optimal performance. She is very kind and caring with her clients, and took the time to explain every step of the procedures to my Dad when conducting the hearing tests and adjustments. We couldn't have found a better mobile hearing clinic and highly recommend Hear at Home!

Jennifer was incredibly helpful to my mother (new client) and I on very short notice. today. She was warm and friendly, thorough and informative, efficient and very fair. We were grateful to learn new hearing aids were not needed, just some cleaning (which she demonstrated clearly) and recalibrating, following a hearing test. I would definitely recommend her business to anyone with mobility issues or privacy concerns or just wanting someone in the business of hearing and hearing support on their side, not beholden to a single manufacturer.

Position: Customer Care Representative

We are a leading hearing clinic, dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with hearing loss. We are currently seeking a dynamic and empathetic Customer Care Representative to join our team on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome clients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly
  • Provide accurate information about our hearing services and products
  • Assist clients in completing necessary forms and paperwork
  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
  • Collaborate with Hearing Aid Practitioners and support staff to ensure a seamless client experience
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns with patience and empathy, striving for effective resolutions
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction and address any additional needs

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Empathetic and patient-oriented approach when dealing with customers
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and appointment scheduling software
  • Prior experience in customer service or healthcare industry preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with audiology or hearing-related terminology is a plus

Job Title: Mobile Hearing Practitioner

We are seeking a highly motivated Mobile Hearing Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality hearing services to our clients, travelling to various locations throughout the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and provide recommendations for appropriate treatment options.
  • Fit and program hearing aids and other assistive devices.
  • Provide follow-up care and adjustments as needed.
  • Educate clients and their families on hearing loss, communication strategies and assistive technology.

  • Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations and professional standards.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Hearing Aid Practitioner in good standing.
  • Strong knowledge of hearing disorders, hearing aids and other assistive devices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel to various locations throughout the community.
