Very friendly and experienced personnel. I brought my mother, 90 years old for wax cleaning two times. From the entrance door we are friendly greeted by receptionist Maia and right away we are offered either cappuccino, tea or water. Holy, hearing practitioner, was very careful working with my old mother, taking care about her ears, carefully cleaning with warm water. And what is the most important, after two sessions my mother’s ears are clear from wax, and she can hear again. Thank you

Over a four week period, Holy Desta patiently facilitated our nearly ninety year old mother in finding her best hearing solution. Holy is a gentle, patient listener who clearly has superb knowledge of all the newest hearing technology and options. Our mother has not allowed her extremely exacting standards to slip with the years and Holy was able to fulfill her VERY high expectations. The reception staff are always warmly welcoming. Even our dog grew excited to visit as they offer a wonderful selection of canine treats too! Hear at Home is a lovely oasis – providing great product competence with a genuine, caring client focus.

I have been dealing with Jennifer and her team for approximately 4 or 5 years now. We got a hearing aid for my mom. My mom has had a few issues with the unit but mostly because she’s a bit klutzy with it and manages to break things. Anyway Jennifer has managed to come up with ways to either fix it under warranty or outright replace something with a spare part they have with no charge. The last time it happened I figured we would be into buying a new unit as I believe the warranty has expired now but she was able to come up with a spare part (replaced the charger because my mom broke the connection). She did this at no cost because she happened to have a spare one in her office. This is well beyond good customer service and I would not expect any business to meet this threshold. I know her and her staff work hard at customer service and appreciate working with them. This is actually the first time I have written a review for anything but felt it was worth to show my appreciation. Especially for this last time since I was out of the country and had to email Jennifer the problem and she was able to take care of it and look after my mom and get the part replaced and didn’t charge me either for the part nor her time. Again I don’t expect any business to do that and would not expect this in the future but that’s what happened. I would fully recommend her for anyone looking for hearing aid services.

Jen and the crew at Hear At Home are simply the best! They are extremely knowledgeable about how to deal with hearing loss and they provide professional, friendly and compassionate service. I received my first hearing aids from Hear at Home in 2023 and have been back to the clinic for annual hearing assessments and occasional adjustments to the hearing aids. Each time I have dealt with Jen or the clinic staff I have been impressed by their competence and empathy. Everyone has been great – I could not recommend Hear At Home more highly.

I had a great experience here for an ear wax check. The doctor was extremely honest and professional. After examining my ears, she showed me clear pictures and explained that I actually didn’t need any ear wax removal. I really appreciated that she didn’t try to upsell anything or charge me for something unnecessary. She also gave me helpful tips on how to keep my ear drums healthy.

I had a wonderful experience during my first visit here. From the very first phone call to my in-person appointment, Maia was warm, helpful, and efficient — she immediately made me feel at ease. The same goes for Holy, who made the entire treatment process so quick and easy. I felt completely confident in her knowledge and expertise. Hear at Home’s mobile hearing clinic is a wonderful service for seniors and anyone with mobility challenges. The first in-home visit included a thorough exam with the latest technology and a clear explanation. When an earwax issue needed a follow up visit, Jennifer personally returned with a specialized device from the clinic to resolve the issue. Following the visit, my hearing was substantially improved. The staff are very helpful, knowledgeable, and really go the extra mile to provide care. I highly recommend them.

So happy with Hear-at-Hone! My mum was in need of some new hearing aids and, as she lives at Summerhill on Lonsdale, was happy to be patronizing a competitor on the corridor that was within walking distance. After describing her encounters with the variety of staff at that location I got her to come to HAH and she and I couldn’t be happier. I was travelling and visiting in the North Vacouver area, with recently aquired hearing aids. The ear piece fitting (power dome) in the left ear was not staying in place. I called Hear at Home to see if they could help me out and Maia, in their shop, got me in right away, and outfitted me with a much more comfortable well fitting ear piece. They provided quick, pleasant and professional service. I would highly recommend Hear at Home to anyone needing hearing aids.

Hearing at home, was referred to me by a friend who has been coming to see them for quite some time. I have mild hearing loss, but I was having a really hard time hearing in crowds. From the first in-home visit to my current hearing aids, the service has been exceptional. The people I’ve dealt with have been warm, caring and committed to helping me. Even just the unannounced phone calls to see how everything‘s going. It’s been a process, but I finally found a pair of hearing aids that I literally don’t even know I’m wearing and has greatly improved my ability to hear in large crowds. The technology of my product is stunning. The sound quality is so incredibly natural it’s like having a new set of ears. I had an excellent experience at Hear at Home MB Hearing Clinic. I live overseas but was home for the holidays and Cindi was able to slot in an appointment time that worked! Holy took the appointment and thoroughly checked my ears including very detailed photos of the inside of both ears which she reviewed with me. I thought I needed wax removal before my appointment but after checking Holy said that was unnecessary but we discussed in detail the way my issue might be resolved. I was not charged for the wax removal and left the clinic with a new strategy to try. Excellent, non-rushed hearing advice!! 10 out of 10!!

Jennifer provided me with my first hearing aids in 2020, visiting me at home to get me started. I’ve just been fitted with my second pair, which are even better! She and her staff have made regular appointments to test my hearing and keep my hearing aids in top condition. A very professional, personalized and friendly service.

I had impacted ear wax from using ear plugs and riding motorcycles with ear plugs. I have a very minor case of tinnitus that I have habituated to but when it comes to ear cleaning I’ve never had a good experience at the GP or walk in clinic. After having my ear wax impacted I found hear at home and booked an appointment. Hear at home uses a curette method which is manual removal and also uses irrigation. This was the most gentle, understanding and positive experience I’ve ever had. I want to say a huge thank you to Holy Desta for being so patient and kind with me. Extremely professional and I would highly recommend her and Hear At Home. Once again, thank you for the professional and kind service, I will be coming back in the new year to have my ears looked at again. Thank you
