Hearing at home, was referred to me by a friend who has been coming to see them for quite some time. I have mild hearing loss, but I was having a really hard time hearing in crowds. From the first in-home visit to my current hearing aids, the service has been exceptional. The people I’ve dealt with have been warm, caring and committed to helping me. Even just the unannounced phone calls to see how everything‘s going. It’s been a process, but I finally found a pair of hearing aids that I literally don’t even know I’m wearing and has greatly improved my ability to hear in large crowds. The technology of my product is stunning. The sound quality is so incredibly natural it’s like having a new set of ears. I can’t say enough good things about these folks and I will recommend them to everyone I encounter that needs help with their hearing.

I had a great experience here for an ear wax check. The doctor was extremely honest and professional. After examining my ears, she showed me clear pictures and explained that I actually didn’t need any ear wax removal. I really appreciated that she didn’t try to upsell anything or charge me for something unnecessary. She also gave me helpful tips on how to keep my ear drums healthy.

I have visited many different hearing clinics over the last 15 years for my hearing issues, and Hear at Home was by far the quickest, friendliest, and most effective clinic we have experienced. Jennifer was incredibly friendly and made the experience much more enjoyable with her jovial attitude. We will definitely be returning to Hear at Home in the future, and I recommend anyone else needing a new hearing clinic visit them. Jen and the crew at Hear At Home are simply the best! They are extremely knowledgeable about how to deal with hearing loss and they provide professional, friendly and compassionate service. I received my first hearing aids from Hear at Home in 2023 and have been back to the clinic for annual hearing assessments and occasional adjustments to the hearing aids. Each time I have dealt with Jen or the clinic staff I have been impressed by their competence and empathy. Everyone has been great – I could not recommend Hear At Home more highly.

Hear at Home’s mobile hearing clinic is a wonderful service for seniors and anyone with mobility challenges. The first in-home visit included a thorough exam with the latest technology and a clear explanation. When an earwax issue needed a follow up visit, Jennifer personally returned with a specialized device from the clinic to resolve the issue. Following the visit, my hearing was substantially improved. The staff are very helpful, knowledgeable, and really go the extra mile to provide care. I highly recommend them.

Audiologist Jennifer and her admin team have been a dream to work with. Of course the in-home services have been convenient for my grandparents who are both new to hearing aids. But Jennifer has really gone above and beyond with thorough, thoughtful, and professional communication and service. We have deeply appreciated her perspective, suggestions, and referrals to other high quality services/providers for our grandparents. Her experience is evident. Glad to be supporting an independent and locally owned business as well.

Jennifer looked after my mom’s hearing needs at Lynn Valley Care Centre. She was just amazing. Patient and always available. Right before my mom turned 100 years old Jennifer fitted my mom with top of the line hearing aids. Over the years Jennifer has made many visits to the care home to make sure everything was ok. We could call her anytime. Unfortunately my mom passed away in May of this year. However once again Jennifer came to our rescue. My husband had to be in long term care and Jennifer adapted this hearing aids to my husband. He is very happy. For people who are in long term care or have challenges this service is really very helpful. As far as I know they are the best.

Over a four week period, Holy Desta patiently facilitated our nearly ninety year old mother in finding her best hearing solution. Holy is a gentle, patient listener who clearly has superb knowledge of all the newest hearing technology and options. Our mother has not allowed her extremely exacting standards to slip with the years and Holy was able to fulfill her VERY high expectations. The reception staff are always warmly welcoming. Even our dog grew excited to visit as they offer a wonderful selection of canine treats too! Hear at Home is a lovely oasis – providing great product competence with a genuine, caring client focus.

Great experience

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of an appointment at Hear at Home. The clinic had NOT provided the hearing aids I was using — but they were not performing well. Instead of brushing me off (“you didn’t buy from us”), the staffer graciously invited me to come in so they could take a look at the aids. It turned out there was nothing more serious than an ear-wax buildup. Holy Desta did a thorough evaluation, cleaned the ear pieces, re-taught me me the basics of maintenance, and forwarded web links so I could refresh my memory. I was at the clinic about an hour — and all the staff members were pleasant, suportive, and professional. At the end of my session, they didn’t charge me a penny, and even brought me a delicious cappuccino! My conclusion: these folks operate well beyond reasonable expectations. I have zero reservations about this clinic.

Very friendly and experienced personnel. I brought my mother, 90 years old for wax cleaning two times. From the entrance door we are friendly greeted by receptionist Maia and right away we are offered either cappuccino, tea or water. Holy, hearing practitioner, was very careful working with my old mother, taking care about her ears, carefully cleaning with warm water. And what is the most important, after two sessions my mother’s ears are clear from wax, and she can hear again. Thank you

The assessment wasn’t rushed and advice to prepare the condition of Mom’s ears prior to doing a hearing test is much appreciated. Unreliable, expensive and dishonest place My mom tried their service and and her ear device has many problems and they can’t fix it after many visits she dumped it and went to another clinic and now she feels comfortable..

I was travelling and visiting in the North Vacouver area, with recently aquired hearing aids. The ear piece fitting (power dome) in the left ear was not staying in place. I called Hear at Home to see if they could help me out and Maia, in their shop, got me in right away, and outfitted me with a much more comfortable well fitting ear piece. They provided quick, pleasant and professional service. I would highly recommend Hear at Home to anyone needing hearing aids.

I attended Hear at Home’s office in North Vancouver yesterday and came home very happy! They gave me a thorough hearing exam and updated the App on my phone which wasn’t working. Jennifer and her staff are wonderful Very professional and friendly and I would highly recommend! The cappuccino was also very enjoyable!

My wife and I recently received hearing aids from Hear at Home and are very happy with them. Holly completed a comprehensive hearing test. My wife was unsure about getting hearing aids. Now she is so happy with them that she doesn’t feel them in or sitting on her ear. Holly made us very comfortable. Knowing that she is there to support us if we have any problems is reassuring. Also the price was fair. All the staff at the clinic are friendly.

My sister lost her hearing aid charger at the beginning of a long trip to Fiji, NZ and Australia. There was not enough time to order or purchase one for her to use but Hear at Home lent her one to use on her trip. The crisis was averted thanks to the kindness of the staff at Hear at Home. Recommend them for all hearing issues.

Had a wire pull out of a hearing aid. The brand was phonex from costco. My partner visited the clinic hoping that we may not have to go back to Costco and wailt weeks for the repair. They fixed at the store the same day. A very pleasant experience with the staff and the repair. Martin Pinaud

A perfect solution for my elderly dad who does not like to break his daily routines. It was easy to convince him to stay home for the morning. Jennifer was understanding and we finally got dad to wear hearing aids.

I had impacted ear wax from using ear plugs and riding motorcycles with ear plugs. I have a very minor case of tinnitus that I have habituated to but when it comes to ear cleaning I’ve never had a good experience at the GP or walk in clinic. After having my ear wax impacted I found hear at home and booked an appointment. Hear at home uses a curette method which is manual removal and also uses irrigation. This was the most gentle, understanding and positive experience I’ve ever had. I want to say a huge thank you to Holy Desta for being so patient and kind with me. Extremely professional and I would highly recommend her and Hear At Home. I booked an appointment for my daughter and she was seen at their clinic in Delbrook plaza. There is a family history of hearing loss and as I am currently using hearing aids we wanted to make sure that her hearing was normal. She was seen by Holy Desta who did a full assessment and reassured my daughter that her results were normal. The appointment was provided in a timely manner and plans were made for regular follow up. I would happily recommend this clinic in future.
