Jennifer looked after my mom’s hearing needs at Lynn Valley Care Centre. She was just amazing. Patient and always available. Right before my mom turned 100 years old Jennifer fitted my mom with top of the line hearing aids. Over the years Jennifer has made many visits to the care home to make sure everything was ok. We could call her anytime. Unfortunately my mom passed away in May of this year. However once again Jennifer came to our rescue. My husband had to be in long term care and Jennifer adapted this hearing aids to my husband. He is very happy. For people who are in long term care or have challenges this service is really very helpful. As far as I know they are the best.

Hear at Home is absolutely amazing! Jennifer came to my house, did hearing test for my mother. She is very professional, knowledgeable, experienced and super friendly! My mom felt more calm and comfortable doing the test at home. Jennifer gave us few options of hearing aids. We picked one, which turned out to be perfect to my mom. We finally don’t have to shout out aloud any more. My mom is happy, so are all of our family members. We also visited the clinic a couple of times, besides of Jennifer, all other staffs are super helpful and supportive. Our experience with Hear at Home is fantastic! Definitely they are magical! Was having some hearing loss in my right ear found Hear at Home Mobile Hearing Clinic on Google booked an appointment and was able to get a spot in with them, they were very friendly and cleared out my Wax within 5 minutes and solved my problem thanks again! Great service by caring practitioners

We brought our friend to this clinic whose hearing had gotten incredibly bad because of wax buildup. We booked a 30min appointment for ear wax removal. During the appointment however, the technician discovered that his buildup was incredibly severe and she extended the appointment just so she could get as much done as possible – moving her lunch hour back to accommodate us and gave him a full hour. It was incredibly kind of her and she did a great job!

My wife and I recently received hearing aids from Hear at Home and are very happy with them. Holly completed a comprehensive hearing test. My wife was unsure about getting hearing aids. Now she is so happy with them that she doesn’t feel them in or sitting on her ear. Holly made us very comfortable. Knowing that she is there to support us if we have any problems is reassuring. Also the price was fair. All the staff at the clinic are friendly.

I had a great experience here for an ear wax check. The doctor was extremely honest and professional. After examining my ears, she showed me clear pictures and explained that I actually didn’t need any ear wax removal. I really appreciated that she didn’t try to upsell anything or charge me for something unnecessary. She also gave me helpful tips on how to keep my ear drums healthy.

Got mom’s hearing aids here. The staff have all been wonderful. Explained everything to my mom, were very patient, easy parking. When looking around for hearing aids for mom, I know cost*o prices are lower, but for my mom, who has mobility issues, it’s just way better to have a place closer to home, with parking within meters of the storefront, who can get her in the next day or possibly that same day if needed. Mom is very happy with her hearing aids. One of them got damaged & they got me in very fast & had a new one ready at no charge. Very happy we went with them. Now if I could only convince dad he should get them too..

Hear at Home’s mobile hearing clinic is a wonderful service for seniors and anyone with mobility challenges. The first in-home visit included a thorough exam with the latest technology and a clear explanation. When an earwax issue needed a follow up visit, Jennifer personally returned with a specialized device from the clinic to resolve the issue. Following the visit, my hearing was substantially improved. The staff are very helpful, knowledgeable, and really go the extra mile to provide care. I highly recommend them.

Hear at Home provided my mum with her third pair of hearing aids. The first two attempts were more than disappointing and the result was that they weren’t worn. So let’s just say “third time lucky “🍀! Hear at Home provided excellent service before, during and after which is so refreshing! I was travelling and visiting in the North Vacouver area, with recently aquired hearing aids. The ear piece fitting (power dome) in the left ear was not staying in place. I called Hear at Home to see if they could help me out and Maia, in their shop, got me in right away, and outfitted me with a much more comfortable well fitting ear piece. They provided quick, pleasant and professional service. I would highly recommend Hear at Home to anyone needing hearing aids.

I have been dealing with Jennifer and her team for approximately 4 or 5 years now. We got a hearing aid for my mom. My mom has had a few issues with the unit but mostly because she’s a bit klutzy with it and manages to break things. Anyway Jennifer has managed to come up with ways to either fix it under warranty or outright replace something with a spare part they have with no charge. The last time it happened I figured we would be into buying a new unit as I believe the warranty has expired now but she was able to come up with a spare part (replaced the charger because my mom broke the connection). She did this at no cost because she happened to have a spare one in her office. This is well beyond good customer service and I would not expect any business to meet this threshold. I know her and her staff work hard at customer service and appreciate working with them. This is actually the first time I have written a review for anything but felt it was worth to show my appreciation. Especially for this last time since I was out of the country and had to email Jennifer the problem and she was able to take care of it and look after my mom and get the part replaced and didn’t charge me either for the part nor her time. Again I don’t expect any business to do that and would not expect this in the future but that’s what happened. I would fully recommend her for anyone looking for hearing aid services.

Very friendly and experienced personnel. I brought my mother, 90 years old for wax cleaning two times. From the entrance door we are friendly greeted by receptionist Maia and right away we are offered either cappuccino, tea or water. Holy, hearing practitioner, was very careful working with my old mother, taking care about her ears, carefully cleaning with warm water. And what is the most important, after two sessions my mother’s ears are clear from wax, and she can hear again. Thank you

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of an appointment at Hear at Home. The clinic had NOT provided the hearing aids I was using — but they were not performing well. Instead of brushing me off (“you didn’t buy from us”), the staffer graciously invited me to come in so they could take a look at the aids. It turned out there was nothing more serious than an ear-wax buildup. Holy Desta did a thorough evaluation, cleaned the ear pieces, re-taught me me the basics of maintenance, and forwarded web links so I could refresh my memory. I was at the clinic about an hour — and all the staff members were pleasant, suportive, and professional. At the end of my session, they didn’t charge me a penny, and even brought me a delicious cappuccino! My conclusion: these folks operate well beyond reasonable expectations. I have zero reservations about this clinic.

Hearing at home, was referred to me by a friend who has been coming to see them for quite some time. I have mild hearing loss, but I was having a really hard time hearing in crowds. From the first in-home visit to my current hearing aids, the service has been exceptional. The people I’ve dealt with have been warm, caring and committed to helping me. Even just the unannounced phone calls to see how everything‘s going. It’s been a process, but I finally found a pair of hearing aids that I literally don’t even know I’m wearing and has greatly improved my ability to hear in large crowds. The technology of my product is stunning. The sound quality is so incredibly natural it’s like having a new set of ears. I can’t say enough good things about these folks and I will recommend them to everyone I encounter that needs help with their hearing.

My sister lost her hearing aid charger at the beginning of a long trip to Fiji, NZ and Australia. I had the best experience with Hear at Home. Jennifer is so professional and always thinking from the patient’s perspective. The hearing aids is for my Mom, who is 91 years old. Great personable service for an annoying full ear that felt infected but just needed a good clean! Holy is wonderful and I felt great after my appointment.

From the moment I stepped in the clinic, I was greeted with a smile and greeting! It was the same welcome I experienced when I called for an appointment. Emma is lovely, she made me feel at ease at once. It was my first ear wax removal treatment, which I thought I should do since I wear hearing aids. Had a wire pull out of a hearing aid. The brand was phonex from costco. My partner visited the clinic hoping that we may not have to go back to Costco and wailt weeks for the repair. They fixed at the store the same day. A very pleasant experience with the staff and the repair. Martin Pinaud

Jennifer came to our place with her beautiful assistant Holy to help my mother who needed the service in the home. I had a couple of conversations with Jennifer regarding their services. My experience was that Jennifer prioritizes client needs and satisfaction above the bottom line. An overall good experience of a much needed service in the community for those who cannot visit a doctor’s office.

I had the pleasure to experience my practicum here, shadowing Jennifer Abbott Registered Hearing Instrument Practitioner and owner of this beautiful centre. Jennifer and her staff made me feel as an integral part of her team fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere with her selection of experts. The on-site practitioner is a high level professional, and the administration staff ooze well rounded customer service! I give thanks to everyone for sharing with me their invaluable knowledge and skills, as well as the supportive environment and expert guidance which they give to everyone whom they come in contact with. Plenty of doggie treats for those walking by with their furry friends, lots of coffee tea and goodies for anyone who stops in. I highly recommend a visit to see what services they have to support your hearing health, and I also recommend the lovely walk by the brook just behind the plaza. I booked an appointment for my daughter and she was seen at their clinic in Delbrook plaza. There is a family history of hearing loss and as I am currently using hearing aids we wanted to make sure that her hearing was normal. She was seen by Holy Desta who did a full assessment and reassured my daughter that her results were normal. The appointment was provided in a timely manner and plans were made for regular follow up.
