In 2008, while working as a hearing instrument practitioner for a reputable local clinic, I identified a big problem.
I had families visiting me that shared their difficulties of bringing loved ones to appointments due to their mobility or health challenges, and how they wished there was a service that could deliver mobile hearing care directly to them.
This made me wonder how a mobile hearing care service could not only make the life of my existing clients more convenient but would also give other local families access to advanced hearing care that may not otherwise receive it.
That’s why, I started ‘Hear at Home’ to deliver advanced mobile hearing care across Greater Vancouver.

Right before my mom turned 100 years old Jennifer fitted my mom with top of the line hearing aids. Over the years Jennifer has made many visits to the care home to make sure everything was ok. During the appointment however, the technician discovered that his buildup was incredibly severe and she extended the appointment just so she could get as much done as possible – moving her lunch hour back to accommodate us and gave him a full hour.
