I was introduced to Hear-At-Home nine years ago when Jennifer was assisting my father-in-law with his hearing needs. It was a great service for him. Recently I lost a hearing aid and decided to visit Hear-At-Home to obtain a replacement. It was a very good decision. I am very impressed with how thorough and professional all of the team is. The new hearing aids they recommended are a significant improvement over the previous ones. Holy has been following up to ensure any questions I have are quickly addressed. She was also very helpful with my insurance claim for the lost unit. I would definitely recommend Hear-At-Home to anyone requiring hearing assistance.

My wife and I recently received hearing aids from Hear at Home and are very happy with them. Holly completed a comprehensive hearing test. My wife was unsure about getting hearing aids. Now she is so happy with them that she doesn’t feel them in or sitting on her ear. Holly made us very comfortable. Knowing that she is there to support us if we have any problems is reassuring. Also the price was fair. All the staff at the clinic are friendly.

Jen and the crew at Hear At Home are simply the best! They are extremely knowledgeable about how to deal with hearing loss and they provide professional, friendly and compassionate service. I received my first hearing aids from Hear at Home in 2023 and have been back to the clinic for annual hearing assessments and occasional adjustments to the hearing aids. Each time I have dealt with Jen or the clinic staff I have been impressed by their competence and empathy. Everyone has been great – I could not recommend Hear At Home more highly.

Hear at Home provided my mum with her third pair of hearing aids. The first two attempts were more than disappointing and the result was that they weren’t worn. Hearing at home, was referred to me by a friend who has been coming to see them for quite some time. I have mild hearing loss, but I was having a really hard time hearing in crowds. From the first in-home visit to my current hearing aids, the service has been exceptional. The people I’ve dealt with have been warm, caring and committed to helping me. Even just the unannounced phone calls to see how everything‘s going. It’s been a process, but I finally found a pair of hearing aids that I literally don’t even know I’m wearing and has greatly improved my ability to hear in large crowds. The technology of my product is stunning. The sound quality is so incredibly natural it’s like having a new set of ears. I can’t say enough good things about these folks and I will recommend them to everyone I encounter that needs help with their hearing.

Jennifer provided me with my first hearing aids in 2020, visiting me at home to get me started. I’ve just been fitted with my second pair, which are even better! She and her staff have made regular appointments to test my hearing and keep my hearing aids in top condition. A very professional, personalized and friendly service.

Got mom’s hearing aids here. The staff have all been wonderful. Explained everything to my mom, were very patient, easy parking. When looking around for hearing aids for mom, I know cost*o prices are lower, but for my mom, who has mobility issues, it’s just way better to have a place closer to home, with parking within meters of the storefront, who can get her in the next day or possibly that same day if needed. Mom is very happy with her hearing aids. One of them got damaged & they got me in very fast & had a new one ready at no charge. Very happy we went with them. Now if I could only convince dad he should get them too..

I had the best experience with Hear at Home. Jennifer is so professional and always thinking from the patient’s perspective. The hearing aids is for my Mom, who is 91 years old. The mobile service is perfectly for us. I appreciated all her suggestions and enjoyed every time she visited us. I can feel that she is full of love in her career. The whole team of Hear at Home is Great too. To summarize, I would like to say that the service is awesome and the fee is definitely affordable and reasonable.

A perfect solution for my elderly dad who does not like to break his daily routines. It was easy to convince him to stay home for the morning. Jennifer was understanding and we finally got dad to wear hearing aids.

Hear at Home is absolutely amazing! Jennifer came to my house, did hearing test for my mother. She is very professional, knowledgeable, experienced and super friendly! My mom felt more calm and comfortable doing the test at home. Jennifer gave us few options of hearing aids. We picked one, which turned out to be perfect to my mom. We finally don’t have to shout out aloud any more. My mom is happy, so are all of our family members. I booked an appointment for my daughter and she was seen at their clinic in Delbrook plaza. There is a family history of hearing loss and as I am currently using hearing aids we wanted to make sure that her hearing was normal. She was seen by Holy Desta who did a full assessment and reassured my daughter that her results were normal. The appointment was provided in a timely manner and plans were made for regular follow up. I would happily recommend this clinic in future.

Great place. Very professional. My ears were very badly plugged and they spent the extra time needed to make my ears totally clean. Equipment is excellent and staff were friendly and well trained.

Audiologist Jennifer and her admin team have been a dream to work with. Of course the in-home services have been convenient for my grandparents who are both new to hearing aids. A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of an appointment at Hear at Home. The clinic had NOT provided the hearing aids I was using — but they were not performing well. Instead of brushing me off (“you didn’t buy from us”), the staffer graciously invited me to come in so they could take a look at the aids. It turned out there was nothing more serious than an ear-wax buildup. Holy Desta did a thorough evaluation, cleaned the ear pieces, re-taught me me the basics of maintenance, and forwarded web links so I could refresh my memory. I was at the clinic about an hour — and all the staff members were pleasant, suportive, and professional. At the end of my session, they didn’t charge me a penny, and even brought me a delicious cappuccino! My conclusion: these folks operate well beyond reasonable expectations. I have zero reservations about this clinic.

I had a wonderful experience during my first visit here. From the very first phone call to my in-person appointment, Maia was warm, helpful, and efficient — she immediately made me feel at ease. The Hear at Home team takes such good care of my family. My son has trouble with his ear canal and they provide such relief with the ear-igator…taking him last minute when things get so painful! Everyone is so delightful, friendly and knowledgeable. Can’t recommend them enough.

I have been dealing with Jennifer and her team for approximately 4 or 5 years now. We got a hearing aid for my mom. My mom has had a few issues with the unit but mostly because she’s a bit klutzy with it and manages to break things. Anyway Jennifer has managed to come up with ways to either fix it under warranty or outright replace something with a spare part they have with no charge. The last time it happened I figured we would be into buying a new unit as I believe the warranty has expired now but she was able to come up with a spare part (replaced the charger because my mom broke the connection). She did this at no cost because she happened to have a spare one in her office. This is well beyond good customer service and I would not expect any business to meet this threshold. I know her and her staff work hard at customer service and appreciate working with them. This is actually the first time I have written a review for anything but felt it was worth to show my appreciation. Especially for this last time since I was out of the country and had to email Jennifer the problem and she was able to take care of it and look after my mom and get the part replaced and didn’t charge me either for the part nor her time. Again I don’t expect any business to do that and would not expect this in the future but that’s what happened. I would fully recommend her for anyone looking for hearing aid services.

Great personable service for an annoying full ear that felt infected but just needed a good clean! Holy is wonderful and I felt great after my appointment.

I had impacted ear wax from using ear plugs and riding motorcycles with ear plugs. I have a very minor case of tinnitus that I have habituated to but when it comes to ear cleaning I’ve never had a good experience at the GP or walk in clinic. After having my ear wax impacted I found hear at home and booked an appointment. Hear at home uses a curette method which is manual removal and also uses irrigation. This was the most gentle, understanding and positive experience I’ve ever had. I want to say a huge thank you to Holy Desta for being so patient and kind with me. Extremely professional and I would highly recommend her and Hear At Home. Once again, thank you for the professional and kind service, I will be coming back in the new year to have my ears looked at again. Thank you

We brought our friend to this clinic whose hearing had gotten incredibly bad because of wax buildup. We booked a 30min appointment for ear wax removal. During the appointment however, the technician discovered that his buildup was incredibly severe and she extended the appointment just so she could get as much done as possible – moving her lunch hour back to accommodate us and gave him a full hour. It was incredibly kind of her and she did a great job!

I had a great experience here for an ear wax check. The doctor was extremely honest and professional. After examining my ears, she showed me clear pictures and explained that I actually didn’t need any ear wax removal. I really appreciated that she didn’t try to upsell anything or charge me for something unnecessary. She also gave me helpful tips on how to keep my ear drums healthy.

Had a wire pull out of a hearing aid. The brand was phonex from costco. My partner visited the clinic hoping that we may not have to go back to Costco and wailt weeks for the repair. They fixed at the store the same day. A very pleasant experience with the staff and the repair. Martin Pinaud

Over a four week period, Holy Desta patiently facilitated our nearly ninety year old mother in finding her best hearing solution. Holy is a gentle, patient listener who clearly has superb knowledge of all the newest hearing technology and options. Our mother has not allowed her extremely exacting standards to slip with the years and Holy was able to fulfill her VERY high expectations. The reception staff are always warmly welcoming. Even our dog grew excited to visit as they offer a wonderful selection of canine treats too! Hear at Home is a lovely oasis – providing great product competence with a genuine, caring client focus.

I was travelling and visiting in the North Vacouver area, with recently aquired hearing aids. The ear piece fitting (power dome) in the left ear was not staying in place. I called Hear at Home to see if they could help me out and Maia, in their shop, got me in right away, and outfitted me with a much more comfortable well fitting ear piece. They provided quick, pleasant and professional service. I would highly recommend Hear at Home to anyone needing hearing aids.

Hear at Home’s mobile hearing clinic is a wonderful service for seniors and anyone with mobility challenges. The first in-home visit included a thorough exam with the latest technology and a clear explanation. When an earwax issue needed a follow up visit, Jennifer personally returned with a specialized device from the clinic to resolve the issue. Following the visit, my hearing was substantially improved. I had an excellent experience at Hear at Home MB Hearing Clinic. I live overseas but was home for the holidays and Cindi was able to slot in an appointment time that worked! Holy took the appointment and thoroughly checked my ears including very detailed photos of the inside of both ears which she reviewed with me. I thought I needed wax removal before my appointment but after checking Holy said that was unnecessary but we discussed in detail the way my issue might be resolved. I was not charged for the wax removal and left the clinic with a new strategy to try. Excellent, non-rushed hearing advice!! 10 out of 10!!

My sister lost her hearing aid charger at the beginning of a long trip to Fiji, NZ and Australia. There was not enough time to order or purchase one for her to use but Hear at Home lent her one to use on her trip. The crisis was averted thanks to the kindness of the staff at Hear at Home. Jennifer provided an awesome in home service. My elderly Dad was in the hospital and his hearing aid was lost. As he has dementia, he can’t live without it.
