Jennifer looked after my mom’s hearing needs at Lynn Valley Care Centre. She was just amazing. Patient and always available. Right before my mom turned 100 years old Jennifer fitted my mom with top of the line hearing aids. Over the years Jennifer has made many visits to the care home to make sure everything was ok. We could call her anytime. Unfortunately my mom passed away in May of this year. However once again Jennifer came to our rescue. My husband had to be in long term care and Jennifer adapted this hearing aids to my husband. He is very happy. For people who are in long term care or have challenges this service is really very helpful. As far as I know they are the best.

I was in to Hear at Home last week – Jennifer was proactively presenting new technology that she knew would benefit my hearing loss. These folks are very professional, accomodating and a pleasure to deal with. Jennifer was phenomenal with my 92 year old father who is extremely hard of hearing. Exceptional service and reliability – and they get the job done (even when others struggled).

I was travelling and visiting in the North Vacouver area, with recently aquired hearing aids. The ear piece fitting (power dome) in the left ear was not staying in place. I called Hear at Home to see if they could help me out and Maia, in their shop, got me in right away, and outfitted me with a much more comfortable well fitting ear piece. They provided quick, pleasant and professional service. I would highly recommend Hear at Home to anyone needing hearing aids.

We brought our friend to this clinic whose hearing had gotten incredibly bad because of wax buildup. We booked a 30min appointment for ear wax removal. During the appointment however, the technician discovered that his buildup was incredibly severe and she extended the appointment just so she could get as much done as possible – moving her lunch hour back to accommodate us and gave him a full hour. It was incredibly kind of her and she did a great job!

Hear at Home is absolutely amazing! Jennifer came to my house, did hearing test for my mother. She is very professional, knowledgeable, experienced and super friendly! My mom felt more calm and comfortable doing the test at home. Jennifer gave us few options of hearing aids. We picked one, which turned out to be perfect to my mom. We finally don’t have to shout out aloud any more. My mom is happy, so are all of our family members. Very friendly and experienced personnel. I brought my mother, 90 years old for wax cleaning two times. From the entrance door we are friendly greeted by receptionist Maia and right away we are offered either cappuccino, tea or water. Holy, hearing practitioner, was very careful working with my old mother, taking care about her ears, carefully cleaning with warm water. And what is the most important, after two sessions my mother’s ears are clear from wax, and she can hear again. Thank you

We used Hear at Home Mobile Hearing Clinic for our 99-year-young uncle, and the experience was exceptional. The appointment was professional, very thorough, and extremely satisfactory, all completed in the comfort of his own home. Got mom’s hearing aids here. The staff have all been wonderful. Explained everything to my mom, were very patient, easy parking. When looking around for hearing aids for mom, I know cost*o prices are lower, but for my mom, who has mobility issues, it’s just way better to have a place closer to home, with parking within meters of the storefront, who can get her in the next day or possibly that same day if needed. Mom is very happy with her hearing aids. One of them got damaged & they got me in very fast & had a new one ready at no charge. Very happy we went with them. Now if I could only convince dad he should get them too..

Hearing at home, was referred to me by a friend who has been coming to see them for quite some time. I have mild hearing loss, but I was having a really hard time hearing in crowds. From the first in-home visit to my current hearing aids, the service has been exceptional. The people I’ve dealt with have been warm, caring and committed to helping me. Even just the unannounced phone calls to see how everything‘s going. It’s been a process, but I finally found a pair of hearing aids that I literally don’t even know I’m wearing and has greatly improved my ability to hear in large crowds. The technology of my product is stunning. The sound quality is so incredibly natural it’s like having a new set of ears. I can’t say enough good things about these folks and I will recommend them to everyone I encounter that needs help with their hearing.

I had an excellent experience at Hear at Home MB Hearing Clinic. I live overseas but was home for the holidays and Cindi was able to slot in an appointment time that worked! Holy took the appointment and thoroughly checked my ears including very detailed photos of the inside of both ears which she reviewed with me. I thought I needed wax removal before my appointment but after checking Holy said that was unnecessary but we discussed in detail the way my issue might be resolved. I was not charged for the wax removal and left the clinic with a new strategy to try. Excellent, non-rushed hearing advice!! 10 out of 10!!

We are looking forward to having Jennifer return to do the hearing test on our elderly Mother. The assessment wasn’t rushed and advice to prepare the condition of Mom’s ears prior to doing a hearing test is much appreciated. We are confident that any further advice going forward will be in the best interest of Mom’s needs. Also, having Hear At Home come to Mom’s house and avoiding her having to venture out, which takes a lot of effort on her part, was really great!

This was the most gentle, understanding and positive experience I’ve ever had. I want to say a huge thank you to Holy Desta for being so patient and kind with me. Extremely professional and I would highly recommend her and Hear At Home. I had the pleasure to experience my practicum here, shadowing Jennifer Abbott Registered Hearing Instrument Practitioner and owner of this beautiful centre. Jennifer and her staff made me feel as an integral part of her team fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere with her selection of experts. The on-site practitioner is a high level professional, and the administration staff ooze well rounded customer service! I give thanks to everyone for sharing with me their invaluable knowledge and skills, as well as the supportive environment and expert guidance which they give to everyone whom they come in contact with. Plenty of doggie treats for those walking by with their furry friends, lots of coffee tea and goodies for anyone who stops in. I had a great experience here for an ear wax check. The doctor was extremely honest and professional. After examining my ears, she showed me clear pictures and explained that I actually didn’t need any ear wax removal. I really appreciated that she didn’t try to upsell anything or charge me for something unnecessary. She also gave me helpful tips on how to keep my ear drums healthy.

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of an appointment at Hear at Home. The clinic had NOT provided the hearing aids I was using — but they were not performing well. Instead of brushing me off (“you didn’t buy from us”), the staffer graciously invited me to come in so they could take a look at the aids. It turned out there was nothing more serious than an ear-wax buildup. Holy Desta did a thorough evaluation, cleaned the ear pieces, re-taught me me the basics of maintenance, and forwarded web links so I could refresh my memory. I was at the clinic about an hour — and all the staff members were pleasant, suportive, and professional. At the end of my session, they didn’t charge me a penny, and even brought me a delicious cappuccino! My conclusion: these folks operate well beyond reasonable expectations. I have zero reservations about this clinic.

My sister lost her hearing aid charger at the beginning of a long trip to Fiji, NZ and Australia. There was not enough time to order or purchase one for her to use but Hear at Home lent her one to use on her trip. The crisis was averted thanks to the kindness of the staff at Hear at Home. Recommend them for all hearing issues.
