Our first contact with Jennifer was for a hearing assessment for my 90 year old Mum. Mum was able to be assessed in the comfort of her recliner in her own home and didn't have to make numerous trips to a clinic. Jennifer was very professional and knowledgeable and was able to offer us a wide range of hearing aids. Follow up has been very good as Mum has needed setting changes as her hearing declines. Jennifer also provides monthly checks and cleaning at Mum's retirement home. With a family history of deafness on both my parents sides I decided to have Jennifer assess my hearing in my early 60's. She impressed on me that it is better to get hearing aids earlier than later as hearing is not just about volume but also speech recognition and once that declines it can't be recovered. I was fitted with the most up to date technology with recharging batteries and blue tooth capability. Follow up was excellent. I have on numerous occasions recommended Jennifer to friends and would highly recommend her to others who are experiencing hearing loss.

My family dealt with Jennifer Abbott at Hear at Home Mobile Hearing Clinic for hearing aids for our 90 yr old mother. Jennifer was extremely patient and understanding in her interactions with our Mum. I was particularly pleased that Jennifer spoke directly to Mum, addressing all questions and responses to her and ensuring her total engagement in the process. When responses to tests were different, Jennifer spent the time for a retest to ensure accuracy and had new moulds prepared so that Mum got the best possible benefit from her new aids. All very easy to speak with and the response is always timely - from setting up an initial consult, hearing test, moulds for ear piece/s and if necessary, taking another mould to ensure the best fit, followup with warranty issues. In particular, all this can be done in-home which helps with meeting the needs of those who can't get to their location.

Many thanks to Jennifer who went above and beyond with her customer service! My mother was hospitalized after breaking her hip. She relied on her hearing aids to hear what doctors and physiotherapists were telling her. Unfortunately one of the hearing aids stopped working. I dropped the aid off at the Hear at Home office on a Friday afternoon. The following day Jennifer had fixed it and offered me to pick it up that evening at her home (I couldn't pick it up during office hours), otherwise we would have had to wait til Tuesday. Then on Sunday we were having difficulties getting that hearing aid to stay in her ear. Jennifer had me bring it back to her home Sunday evening to make some adjustments. Its very impressive that Jennifer went out of her way, on her days off, to help my mother in a time of need. Thank you so much, Jennifer, you rock!

Since last Wednesday, I have been putting my hearing aids in after coming out of the shower every single morning. You adjusted it and I have no more problem to understand people more than max. three, me included. Today we were six around the table and sometimes my husband, who was sitting beside me, talked to the host while I was chatting with the hostess and one of her friends to the same time. That never happened the last 3 or 4 years ever!
While driving in a pick up truck, very loud vehicle, I was able to talk to my husband without having to yell at each other! Also the drops are working like a charm. On Thursday, I needed it in both ears once. Today the first time again just later in the afternoon into my right ear. That’s it. It must have a kind of a healing property in that bottle…
Garry asked me if I stay in Squamish just for the cleaning – my reply was, never again!
Thank you for helping me so much and I will see you in a few months for ear cleaning.
