Instead of brushing me off (“you didn’t buy from us”), the staffer graciously invited me to come in so they could take a look at the aids. It turned out there was nothing more serious than an ear-wax buildup. Holy Desta did a thorough evaluation, cleaned the ear pieces, re-taught me me the basics of maintenance, and forwarded web links so I could refresh my memory. I was at the clinic about an hour — and all the staff members were pleasant, suportive, and professional. At the end of my session, they didn’t charge me a penny, and even brought me a delicious cappuccino! My conclusion: these folks operate well beyond reasonable expectations. We brought our friend to this clinic whose hearing had gotten incredibly bad because of… read more wax buildup. We booked a 30min appointment for ear wax removal. During the appointment however, the technician discovered that his buildup was incredibly severe and she extended the appointment just so she could get as much done as possible – moving her lunch hour back to accommodate us and gave him a full hour.
