About Hear at Home

We are a mobile hearing clinic that have been in business since 2009. We have an excellent reputation with our clients, their families and care homes. We are a regulated industry governed by the College of Speech and Hearing Professionals in BC. Our goal is to help our clients hear better and minimize any stress. For those that have mobility issues and cannot get to a clinic, we bring the clinic to them. Our service is extremely valuable and important as we help people with hearing loss have access to services that can help improve their quality of life and enhance their safety. Our team is growing. The customer care professional is a key role in our business. They have a key accountability regarding leaving our clients with a great first impression and wonderful experience after each point of contact. If you feel you have these skills, we would love to welcome you to our team.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide professional and superior customer service
  • Schedule appointments upon requests through telephone calls and emails
  • Manage requests and answer questions through telephone calls and emails
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Execute on office admin procedures
  • Upon request pick up and deliver HAH mail packages
  • Publish social media posts as directed by management
  • Monitor HAH social media account and answer any enquiries
  • Cold calling a list of prospects as per the guidelines provided by management
  • Upon request, retrieve mail from main office


  • Outgoing, friendly, verbal and written communication skills
  • Have the patience and professionalism to work with an older population
  • Ability to solve problems, respond to challenges and provide client-centered care
  • Excellent organization skills, time-management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to take initiatives and work independently
  • Be able to type 40 WPM or higher
  • Demonstrated proficiency on Microsoft Office Suite Products including, Excel, Word and Power Point.
  • Basic knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Willing to learn how to use new cloud-based software programs including Jane Scheduling system
  • Be willing to foster company values and culture
  • Is licensed to drive in BC and have access to a car
  • Provide a criminal record check
  • Passion to learn and grow with the business
  • High-School diploma

Working conditions

The ideal candidate will get on the job training. The Customer Care Professional must carry out job duties from a private home office located in North Vancouver (Edgemont/Delbrook). The position will be part-time flexible (4-5 days p/week & 5-6 hours p/day).
